Hi guys. I didnt have a good start with spark at all when they tried to connect the internet to the new house we have recently purchased and now with the internet being finally connected i have another problem...extremely slow internet connection. I am getting everything between 2.7mbps and 3.3....

Before it got connected I have done everything I could in order to get the top speed. Master filter has been installed at the point where copper lines get in the house with two wires to the copper and two to the cat6 cable which goes to the jacpoint where modem is connected. I do not have a phone line or any other jackpoints, only one cable to one jackpoint. My stats looks alright and i beleive i should be getting at least 12 megabits per second. I let you judge and advise.Stats is attached

Your speeds are in line with your sync rate. As for that, I'd expect a bit more for the attenuation but with the information you've given it's impossible with speculate whether there is anything that can be done to improve this.

Attenuation is only one aspect that that determines sync speed.

Sorry chap, but that's not extremely slow.

Be happy with it, there are plenty of people here getting far worse.
My connection is very quick tonight @1.37Mb/s, this time of night it's often 0.5

Interesting. http://www.speedguide.net/faq/what-is-considered-good-dsl-line-attenuation-371

They suggest that with the level of noise I have should get over 12 as well.living in Howick and being over 2km from the exchange and getting speeds like that?...

Those FEC errors suggest a dodgy physical connection somewhere - statistically, this is most likely within the premesis.

Have you tried connecting the modem at the demark to fully eliminate your internal wiring?

took off the filter and combined wires from the copper to the cat6. got the same results with copper lines connected directly to the jackpoint and modem.

Jarcar or corys are also a good option

While your at it, give that filter somewhere to sit rather than leaving it dangling...
