Hi, the CDMA phones and java apps will use WAP data, which is not covered by a data plan, and is charged at 1c per kb....

This soon adds up to large costs - so be warned!

Hey all after much tinkering i have done it! I have a java application thats free to use on a Sanyo 6600 and allows use of MSN, Yahoo and AIM!!!

Albeit it costs 0.1c a kb, however, this actually mounts up slower than you think, if you restrict your use to one chat at a time

Here is the link

Steps:

Boot Browser
Search
Go To URL
Enter "wap.getjar.com"
Quick Download
Enter "17188" Into The Box
Download
Install
Boot
Follow Instructions To The Letter
Log In
Menu
Other IM
MSN (etc)
Setup Username and Password
Log In
Done :D

It's not 0.1c / KB. It's 1c / KB. It's 10 tomes more than you are thinking.

And it's not only chat, but there's a constant traffic in the background.

Be warned.
