About 2 days ago Xtra Emails stopped arriving on my IPAD Mini 2

I am using the IOS Email and have deleted and re-created the Yahoo Xtra account with no success.

I resorted to downloading the Yahoo Email app and this working fine on the Ipad.

I prefer to be able to use the IOS Email as it manages multiple accounts and alerts.

This seems to be a Yahoo issue as the IPAD hasn't had any updates that I can see that would affect this

Other international forums report the same problem.

IMAP or POP? Does it work on a PC/laptop over Wifi?

What happens if you telnet/SSH to the IMAP port, then issue the commands manually? I know this isn't particularly easy to do, especially from an iPad...

Were you using POP or IMAP in the default email app ?

When you add an account you have 2 choices: Other (POP) or Yahoo (IMAP) have you tried both ?

Xtra Mail is actually a part of Yahoo. I'd recommend you setup your Xtra email under Yahoo, the screen when you can choose provider like Gmail, Hotmail or Exchange etc. I think it's the best option for Xtra users because you can have push notifications.

I have the same issue as well for one of my users. Xtra email last updated on Sat. The Xtra account is set up using the Yahoo profile that comes with IOS.

If I load a different Xtra mail account using the Yahoo profile on that device, it works fine.
If I load that Xtra mail account on a different iOS device using the Yahoo profile, it works fine.
If I load the Xtra mail account using 'other' in iOS, it works fine.
I just cannot get that particular Xtra Mail account to work with the Yahoo profile on that particular device. Its bloody odd and I have troubleshooted the hell out of it.
