I'm thinking to go with skinny at the moment i'm with spark but i like to know how good is skinny compare to spark? like i know they got good cheap deals what other things can skinny can give me than spark cant? and are people still going to skinny and then changing back to vodafone or spark?

I just switched from Spark to Skinny.

Loving it thus far.

Was paying $19 on Spark. Now paying $16 on Skinny for the same place (500MB data, 60mins calling to NZ and unlimited txt)

What skinny gives me that Spark did not.

Months plan for free, Bonus 1GB data when signed up
100mins vs 60 at Spark
Free txt's to AUS
Free Skinny to Skinny calling
All your data and minutes rollover to the next month if you do not use them all.

Cheers for both you guys :) I'm thinking to go on the $46 deal i'm all ways running out of minutes on my $19 plan and i thought for the network coverage that spark would get 5 stars as well

I am going to assume you have a smartphone. In that case, what I would do is to sync my contacts on Google. Therefore, whichever phone I use (Android) my contacts are already there waiting for me. Cloud is the future! :-)

I just changed my spare phone from Spark to Skinny. It doesn't get much use so the $9:00 combo was perfect. The thing that impressed me was the greater flexibility to purchase add-ons to suit changes in usage. There is for me a lot more flexibility there

I've been with Skinny a couple years now, haven't seen any downsides.

I'm with Skinny ($16 combo), so is my wife ($9 combo) and one of my daughters ($16 combo). Have had no problems at all, and have no intentions of changing to any other provider.

Only thing missing is that there is no data available when I travel to Australia - but voice and SMS in Australia work fine (Automatically connects to Telstra when you land).

The only other thing missing is there is no HD quality voice service - but with the other advantages, I'll put up with that!

Im thinking of switching too, anyone know if I start on the $46 plan then eventually change to the $16 does my data carry over remain the same?
