I am getting issues with this unit disconnecting every few hours or so under the 1st tab on WAN status however it is showing the DSL up time as 7 days .
Have updated to the latest firmware and made no difference.
Any ideas this is very annoying at times.

its not the DSL side as the techs at bigpipe ran a 24 hour test and there was no disconnects but it is happening on the LAN side I think

How come Chorus installed given the 20 dB attenuation. You would get higher download sync on adsl2+.

The attenuation Chorus measure to determine whether VDSL is available at an address and the attenuation modems report are different. The attenuation Chorus measure is at one frequency. The attenuation modems report is an average of all frequencies in use. The figure a modem reports will always be higher than the one that Chorus determine VDSL availability on.

By LAN side disconnects you mean both wired and wireless?? If wireless have you done the usual survey and locked on clear channel??

Both Wired and wireless may try another router if I can find one at a reasonable price
