100/50Mbps Fibre in West Auckland
PPPOE up, ping to google is responding for a while, then down for 10-15 seconds, then up for a while, then down.

Router rebooted, same deal. PPPOE stays up throughout.

Nothing on twitter, nothing on network status. Will check it in an hour then log a fault.

ADSL2+ here and yeah im getting router disconnects and reconnects webpages not loading etc

Looks to be fine up to Global Gateway:

122.56.116.5 - last hop before global gateway doesn't go down
210.55.202.213 - ae5-2.akbr7.global-gateway.net.nz - up and down

Whatever it is, it's not your imagination.

Please log your issues with the helpdesk. I know it sucks to be asked to do that, but the more RECORDED INCIDENTS they get, the faster people make the decisions to throw more people and resources at the problem.

Something is going on cause the connection has gone to hell in a hand basket!!!! Issues up here in Dargaville....facebook will load and then stops loading, TeamSpeak keeps connecting and disconnecting. Some sites won't load and then they do load after several tries....World of Warships NA connects..then can't connect...WoWs Asis connects..then won't..then will again. Geekzone loads..then won't ..then will..then won't (hoping this will post)....

Check Sparks FB page (it loads..then doesn't...then does)....peeps are posting from several places --- having same kind of issues..pages timing out..then work..then time out.

Log call with helpdesk and be asked scripted questions like turning my router off then on, no thanks.

argh thank god its not just me - i also got kicked off Battlenet... was thinking maybe i got banned for swearing on the forums or something haha.

i've had terrible lag problems over the last month. like websites having stutter lag or throwing up TCP errors. in particular http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/ does this all the time, and other forum users say its just me lol.

but tonight even google won't load sometimes :/

is Snap more reliable? i absolutely will switch if they have their s&^% together more than Spark.

I've escalated direct several levels up and it's been looked into now. Given this is easily replicable and affects seemingly all international traffic, don't bother trying to log helpdesk calls anymore :-)
