How long does it usually take to get connected after getting disconnected from the first ISP. I had informed 3 weeks in advance the disconnection date to Bigpipe. Now it looks like I will be connected after 9 days of the disconnection.

It usually it takes just a few hours to transfer a UFB connection rom 1 ISP to another, unless you are coinciding it with a house move or something like that.

Can you PM me your email address please and I'll take a look and try and find out why that hasn't happened.

Good to hear.

for future reference, the best thing to do when transferring connections from one ISP to another is to request the connection with the new ISP first, and only when you have the date confirmed should you tell your current ISP you are moving.

Otherwise, the current ISP can place a "disconnection order" on the line, which actually blocks the new ISP from placing an order until that disconnection is fully completed, which can then cause delays in getting your new connection working.

Frustrating I know, but unfortunately that is the way the process works from Chorus.

Cheers.
