My wife just got the following email from Skinny.

Hi! We're just letting you know that your $900,000 ${bundleName} Combo will auto renew in 24 hours time. Your current balance is $1091401.00 which is enough to cover your Combo so you don't have to do anything. Remember, if you want to check your balance, top up, buy a different Combo and Add-Ons when and wherever you want, there are a few different ways you can do all of that. You can free text commands to 2424 or log in online at skinny.co.nz. And if you have an Apple or Android phone you can download the Skinny Mobile App [link through] to manage your account. Check it all out at www. skinny.co.nz/keepingtrack Thanks, The Skinny team

Her combo looks a tad expensive at $900,000, but at least her current balance shows she has the funds to cover it!

Maybe she should quit Skinny and get a refund of the outstanding credit balance ;)

Whew eh?

I reckon they should be giving you a solid gold phone with that sort of spending!

Yeah - we figure Donald Trump may struggle to keep up with these payments.

Wouldn't be so bad, except the $900,000 only gets her 100Mb data and 30 mins of call time :(

Anyway, we're off to see the real estate agent to sell the house so we can cover next months combo.

Apart from that text, is everything working correctly? No problems with your combo etc

As far as I know everything is working OK, just sent her a TXT and she replied OK.

All looks normal when I log into her account on the Skinny website.

Does this mean we wont get a refund of the remaining $1,091,401.00 if we choose to quit Skinny??

If only it were $NZ. We could then afford to go to the next level combo - for a short time anyway :)

Good to hear, I have let someone at Skinny know about it so they can figure out why this happened.

Their regular Geekzone person is on leave, they have asked if you could message them your wifes number on Facebook so they can check it out. Just go to https://www.facebook.com/skinny and hit the Message button

Have sent them a message on Facebook, and suggested they call me (gave my number) as I don't normally use Facebook - at all!

They haven't called me yet.

They have just called me.

Didn't hear the sound of any partying, but then again, guess they can now afford really expensive handsets that mute the unwanted background sounds (like partying etc)

:)

I'm back now.  If only I'd seen this post before I left I may have been able to go business class!  I'll check in with the team to see what happened.
