Has anybody seen any info from Telecom yet as to what will happen with customers on Boost when the brand is discontinued shortly? I'm guessing that Boost customers will be able to continue but that no new customers will be able to move across? Will the Boost TXT plan be relaunched as a Telecom product?

its just a marketing change. Its the brand thats been dropped not the plan. Boost Prepaid has become Telecom Mates Rate Boost and Mega Text has become Boost Text. The reason it has been announced so widely is that it required a T & C change I believe.
New customers can sign up to Boost Txt by ringing *333

Correct, nothing changes but the name of the plan. Customers can now sign up on any of the Telecom Prepaid plans (Mates Rates; My Time and Anytime) with the 2000 TXT option, where previously Boost Mobile's (2,000 TXT's) calling rates modelled that of Go Prepaid Mates Rates.

The $1 txt plan has however been withdrawn.
