Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues to me lately - tonight (and last sunday night) had an identical issue occur where my internet connection is fine - however any online gaming (ie WoW, GuildWars, SWTOR) and even steam connection have either fallen off or had terrible ping response times (in the 1000s of ms - basically up to a point where it disconnects) - however normal internet, youtube, netflix etc all work fine...

I'm using Spark VDSL connecting directly to the telecom router (technicolor gateway) - i thought it was a one off but its just happened again making me wonder if theres something else going on...

Logic would dictate that if other services were fine but gaming servers were running slow there is probably an issue with the server.
Routes could have been changing etc etc..

actually i think in the end it ended up being iphone photo stream - partner turned it on on sunday - we turned it off - but then it managed to turn itself on on one of the ipads and i think pretty much chewed up the bandwith...download speeds remained ok but i think because uploads is much slower it ended up killing particular services - ie anything online gaming related...
