Hi, I've recently had fibre installed in our new place with vodafone but the whole process has been a nightmare due to some pretty poor customer service which I won't go into detail about.
After researching a bit Bigpipes service seems to be right up there and not having a term contract is also a bonus. The only drawback is needing your own modem.
Can anyone tell me if the one I got from vodafone will be compatible with Bigpipe, even if it is just a temporary solution. Also would I need to change anything in the configuration? The model is Huawei HG659.
If not could anyone recommend where I could get a reasonably priced one that is compatible with up to 200Mbps fibre?

If it's configured correctly it will work. Bigpipe use untagged PPPoE on their UFB plans.
TP-Link Archer C2 isn't too pricey and will do 200/200. The C9 is a lot nicer.
