I know they have static IP addressing issues, but I just noticed about 11:45 all my machines at home just dropped offline.  I've got no visibility if it's on my side or not (short of going home and checking the ont + my router).

Yes we have an issue.
I am on an audio conference about this issue currently.
We hope to have most Static IP customers on Fibre sorted shortly.  There may be some that take us a little longer to get sorted.
Please be assured we are treating this very seriously, and working hard to get it resolved very soon.

Thanks.  I'm not a static ip customer though, and only just started having an issue about 11:45ish.  Was just reaching out to see if any other users had an issue.

If you are a dynamic IP customer, the line will bounce every 4 hours at present, but there should be no reason it will not come back up again when it bounces.
Again, expected resolution very shortly.

Spoke with Spark DIA this morning. They carried out a migration yesterday which dropped all their static IP tied to UFB.
They have this as their level red response, but as of 12:45 still not resolved.
Affects users with UFB static IP tied to DNS records. With the wrong IP DNS does not resolve, so no VPN, email, remote access etc. :-(

Hmm I wonder if my WAN connection bounced and then the PPPoE auth didn't come back.

The fix is rolling out now.  We are prioritising Static IP customers.   If your line is not fixed now, it should be fairly shortly.
If anyone has a line which is still having an issue, please PM me now.

Do you recommend rebooting the routers  or should it just go??

I had to drop the PPPoE link in a Draytek, then re-dial. Didn't need to reboot the entire device.
That said, if dropping the link will lose your remote connection a reboot might be a better option.

A restart won't hurt. It may get you working sooner.

If anyone else is having issues, can you please try restarting your RGW, and if you're still having issues, then PM me.
Thanks.

Well duh, get home, if I was affected who knows.  My UPS which controls a PC and the ONT decided today was the day to try a self test...and drained in abut 2 mins....I guess the battery is stuffed.

So that's what took me out.
