Can anyone advise me how I can get access to some of the built-in alert sounds from my W531 so I can use them for other purposes? There are a couple which I would like to convert to mp3 and utilise on my Okta Touch, but I don't know how to get into the W531 beyond the usual USB interface.

Not elegant, but in a quiet room, set the volume to about 1/2 and record from about 2cm away. This should generate 'good enough' quality, and was a good way of getting free ringtones onto older phones that could record notes and assign them as rings.

Thanks for that - have already done that in a soundproof recording studio, which is about as good as I going to get I guess. Was hoping to gain access to the files off the phone, but so far haven't found a way in.
Cheers...
