Most of the people I know at CCL are ex Gen-i anyway...they probably not so happy about this.

IIRC they used to be owned by the same people who owned Snap.

From what I understand Darryl Swann remains at the helm and CCL is to remain more or less as it is now for the medium term.

it was at one stage, but they went their separate ways many years ago. Well before the 2degress purchase of snap.

Pretty sure it was started and run by ex Gen-i people and they employed a number of ex Gen-i.

Probably a good profit in there for someone.

Snap originally built the Datacentre at Durham Street - was marketed as the Co-Location Company 100% owned and run by Snap

CCL bought 46% of Snap (along with 2 other investors from Dunedin) and Mark Petrie who was there from pretty much day 1 in around 2015 and in 2011 Petrie bought out the other shareholders then sold to 2degrees in 2015 and became a 2degrees shareholder.

When the 2011 sale of Snap went through CCL bought the Datacentre
