Bigpipe is going to launch UFB in Christchurch soon and we could do with some trial customers, so we are doing one of our fabled Geekzone Special Offers :D

If you have an ONT installed already and you'd like to give our service a go, we'd love to hear from you. It'll be completely free for the duration of the trial - and if the trial goes for less than 2 months, we'll make sure you get a total of 2 months free UFB.

If you want to take up the offer, PM me the following details

  • Name
  • Email address
  • If you are an existing Bigpipe customer
  • Address you want the connection
  • If you already have a UFB capable router (and if so, which model)
You can check out our broadband plans at our website - once your trial / the first two months is up, we'll just resume normal billing for whatever plan you are on.

[edit] Please note that if you want to trial the offer you will have to switch from your current ISP, and we won't be covering any disconnection / contract breaking fees, although the minimum 2 months free should go quite a long way towards that sort of thing :)

I just know it could be a long wait from order to provisioning due to being in a rental with a shared driveway haha

Errrr we're a few months off end of Contract with 2D, I'd happily change to you for this trial but I think we're on a $499 ETF contract so hard to justify. Good luck though BP, looking forward to checking you guys out in the new year.

What about Hamilton? Will we be getting the privilege anytime soon? Looking for a new provider and really keen to give you a try.

I second the motion for Hamilton. Christchurch doesn't need it - who even lives there?

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

As an ex-Hamiltonian I feel your pain. The only answer I can give right now is soon, hopefully. As soon as we are in Hamilton we will shout it from the rooftops, believe me.

Good to hear. Enable's current eta for my address is by July 2016 so it's good to know that I should be able to stay with Bigpipe once UFB is at my door.
