I heard Paul Reynolds on the National Program (Radio) this morning, explaining away the lastest woes of Telecom. Yesterday's Herald article explains the problems.

This morning Mr Reynolds announced that a new incentive scheme for senior management will be introduced. What is exciting about this is that it will be based around customer satisfaction, rather than numbers and dollars.

Congratulations Telecom!! If it's one area of your organisation that needs a serious overhaul it's customer service. This forum is full of tales regarding very poor customer service from the big T, lets hope that there is a rapid trickle down to the front lines (and there will be if management bonuses are dependent).

It is good, although I think you will find most forums that are specific to a company are generally full of complaints and problems.

The vast majority of most companies customers who are happy, will simply pay their bill and use the service - happy people dont trawl around forums to say so.

I think 'new Telecom' (i.e. Telecom sans TG) will become significantly different. Although a lot of that will have to do with systems, initiatives and technology planned for in the last few years.

Anything that improves customers satisfaction is certainly very welcome!!

<off topic> I couldn't help this... but I got to say this... Telecom goes from T3G (from their common tag-logo in Telecom 3G) to TG3 (Theresa Gattung-fr33) hehe</off topic>
