Has anyone noticed their Spark 80GB plan usage counter shows the previous day's usage labelled under the current day?

I just checked my usage 3 minutes after midnight and it showed over 8GB against today (which at the time was only 3 min old!) ... that's just not possible in 3 min at 30 Mbit/sec.

The ONT was re-powered as recommended by their customer portal usage page, just before midnight.  It probably wouldn't have finished booting up until just after the new day.
