Yep, a nice competition for Bigpipe customers.

We launched our snazzy simple and uber-inspired friend referral scheme about two months ago and we've already given away about $3k worth of credit to lucky pipers.

So it's time to up the ante and give away EVEN MOAR STUFF

So, from today until the end of May, whoever refers the most of their friends to Bigpipe will win a home cinema package worth over $2,000.

(that's on top of the $20 credit they already get per referral).

Here's the competition details with some tips on how to get maximum numbers for minimum efforts.

Here's how to refer people if you haven't already done it (it's so easy - just share your unique link with as many people as possible and you are done)

Man those credit costs sure rack up quick -$ 3K at $40 per new connection ($20 per new person joined + $20 per for existing member) is only 75 referrals.

I'd join you but cheaper to stay with 2 Degrees fibre as on an old Snap plan.
If things change I'll let you know but currently $10 a month cheaper where I am :)

And if you were willing to spring the rediculous $2,600 Chorus want for a copper line to my boundary I'd happily dump Skinny's (otherwise excellent offering) 60gb limit for an unlimited VDSL and switch of my Netflix bandwidth limitation to enjoy full HD movies too! 👍

I guess I am going to be asked to go away with this competition ;)

But, people are nice and accepting so here is my link. I'm really in need for a new TV since my current one is an old Sony 32" "smart" TV from 2011 that lost all its smarts and is now too small, no real funds to justify replacing it just yet so just need my internet bill paid for the month of May so I can afford to save for a new TV.

PhantomNVD: rediculous $2,600 Chorus want for a copper line to my boundary

If it were only that much to get them to connect me on UFB I'd happily pay it. :(

AGREE 👍

But that much for crappy copper with a 17/5VDSL (ideal conditions) connection - absolutely not!

If you're currently on UFB and you switch to us you get 2 months free on any fibre plan - so about two years worth of ten bucks less a month :D

would you know, came home today to a chorus worksite where they just thrust under the corner and 50m along my boundary with a +/-50mm green conduit (copper?)!

Any ideas how long their system will take to show its availability?
If I click Michaels link above would it be likely you can now give me a connection?

They didn't actually connect my boundary wire (tucked it back under my fence) or even give me a pillar, but surely once it's in the ground its an easy enough job to splice me in too?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

likely to be one of those situations where until we actually place the order, we don't know.

We've just updated our address checker with the latest data today, so take a look now and see what it says. If no luck with that you can also drop our team an email via our site and they can have a chat with Chorus to see if we can get anymore info..
