mobile.xtra.co.nz I think. Also try wap2menu.waptrial.co.nz
Note you cannot access this through a PDA mobile@jamamobile data domain. www.xtra.co.nz/pda is the usual default.

pda.xtra.co.nz or xtra.co.nz/pda are both the 'news' sites that come default on the newer devices...

As paradoxsm said, you can't access 'WAP' from the PDAs, you get a pure internet connection instead.

cheers para and cokemaster

yeps, great for news.

as far as checking picture messages, whats the easiest way to check them? i get a message saying go to xtra.co.nz/viewmsg and enter the details, but this is one heck of a time consuming process. is there any other way to do it or a faster method?

cheers!

Unfortnately, there isn't good news on that front as the PDAs are not able to recieve photo messages (there have been a few posts about it on geekzone previously about installing photomessaging clients).

My suggestion would be bookmark the page and just enter the required data manually? I hardly get any so the ones I do get, I use my desktop to view.

is there a chance at all in the  future of telecom windows mobile phones being able to send and receive picture messages? i do get sent many and the bother of going to the website.. crikey! thats where i miss my sanyo 9000. and sending pictures to an email address meaning the receiver also needs to go the website or view via a built in email client on their phone or similar. what a mission for both ends.. just takes the fun out an instant picture message!

anyways, just a rant :) come on telecom! help us out!
