As the tittle say. I'm not receiving "Google Verification" txt on my mobile. I switched from 2D to Skinny about 3 months ago & just today decided to add Google Verification txt to my Google account login security. When adding my number to my google account it took 3-4 before attempts to add the number before I finally received a verification txt & now my is added successfully. But now trying to sign into my google account I don't receive the Google Verification txt, so I'm locked out of my google account cry

Any help skinny?

If you have a Smartphone you should use an authenticator app such as Authy instead of SMS, which is unreliable in any network.

I gave up on google sms and changed to the voicecall option. I think it lets you do that after some time waiting on the screen to put the code in and pressing that it didnt arrive or something like that. Just have to turn off call blocking before logging in since its usually an anonoymous or 0000 number it comes from.

I'll give it a crack and see. I do have a recovery email address added to my Google account so hopefully that helps.

I actually rang skinny & they confirmed the skinny network did not receive any google txts. So what ever the issue is it's not at skinnys end. Anyway I'll switch to the Google Auth App from now on.

Thanks for the replies...
