My internet went down, so I gave Spark naked broadband technical support a call, and heard the wait time is over 2 hours. Yikes! This is at about 10am in the morning today.

So I tried their website's live chat on my cellphone, and that was 30 minutes, but at least that's better. When I got in though, I noticed it only lets me type one word at a time. Random! I wonder if that's something to do with my cellphone (Samsung Note 3, Android 4.4.2, Swift Key keyboard, Google Chrome browser), but it hasn't happened on other forms.

When I finished typing a word into the chat, if I pressed space or comma it would instantly delete my word. I used voice recognition in the end, but I wonder if anyone else has had this issue?

It doesn't happen in the initial chat forms, just when you're actually inside the chat.

Maybe I've spotted a bug, or perhaps it's something to do with the software on my phone. I just thought it'd be interesting to see if anyone else has had the same issue.

Here's hoping I never have to try calling Spark support again though :o

Regarding the text entry issue, try using something other than SwiftKey. I've had a number of similar problems with it.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Ah! Interesting to know, and that's quite likely the issue then if the keyboard has done similar things for people. I'll look into others, cheers!
