Just noticed on the Google Play store a new app for Skinny so had a look at it. A home screen replacement by Postr that gives you either 200mb data or 75 mins calling time every 30 days for installing and using.

Not bad - is just some NZ Herald headlines or a Met Service page as a lock screen - not a bad deal for 200mb data. (especially when I am only on $9 plan)

does it only work on the sim that is in the phone? Can you install it on spare phones that do nothing and have them generate more data to use?

You have to verify your phone number with a text code so assume it is only for the one phone per number, by design at least.

This app has been out for quite a few months now, Data used by it is zero-rated (it doesn't use your allowance).

Essentially it's the same as the regular Postr app but you get Skinny Data/Mins instead.

When the app first came out it was 200 minutes, but in latest update it reduced to 75. My guess is its been around 6 months. I rarely get any actual adverts based on my location. I've just purchased a new skinny phone (ZTE a462) with marshmallow, I haven't yet reinstalled the app as it doesn't seem I can disable factory swipe to unlock so if I downloaded the app I'd have to double unlock which would be pita.
