Hi,i need help unlocking samsung sch-w531,i bought it in N.Z. thinking that the dual network capability would be handy for the change over in Australia. However been through unlocking service here to no avail.I just want to be able to use this phone in Australia without being tied to top rates in N.Z.I gave up my number in N.Z. before travelling to Oz and have supposedly severed the Telecom connection.Help!!!!! Miles.

This phone is sold as a World Mode phone, which means that you can roam on GSM networks worldwide using a Telecom SIM card.

Because of the device being locked, you won't be able to connect locally.

It means that this phone will work on Telecom's CDMA network and while overseas it will roam in other networks.

There's no official "unlock" for this phone. And since we do not allow unlock code posts I am locking this thread.
