We are on Spark Fibre 200/200 in Christchurch (so Enable).

Today our Internet keeps dropping out for about 30 seconds at a time. Doesn't seems to be any pattern to it, but has done it several times. Noticed it because RDP sessions would stop responding, and confirmed by running a continuous ping to 8.8.8.8 and observed several timeouts at the same time as the RDP sessions stop responding.

Anyone else having issues today?

Thanks

Hiya, Same issue in the Richmond area. Contacted spark who have no knowledge of an outage. Very frustrating. Am logging a technician to investigate and will follow up to let you know how it goes.

Gathering some info at the moment - my initial thought wasn't on the money... I'll pm those with the issue to get more details.

Cheers - N

Having issues here too, ont looks happy but router shows no internet connectivity. Tried two routers same deal. Bugger. 4G was out for a bit earlier too, ugh. Was horrible!

Edit: we are in Auckland, on the north shore, if it's relevant.

Thanks for the nice words guys, but just as many thanks to those that report these sort of things through the official channels (as well)... I was able to nudge this in the right direction this time but there's not always someone here... I'll generally only jump in quickly if I see it, and if it seems to be affecting multiple people at the same time. This qualified...

For individual issues I often have to stay a bit quiet because they are still usually premises wiring issues and I can't help with those except to suggest that if you don't have a splitter, then you should (xDSL only of course! :-)...

Glad I was able to help in this case though...

Cheers - N

Your issue will not be related to that in this thread - start another thread with as many details as possible please.

Cheers - N
