Having just completed this and not seeing a guide for it, here's what I did:
Plug your router in properly- there are guides elsewhere to do that. It should be pretty obvious.
In a browser go to routerlogin.net OR 192.168.1.1 - or whatever ipconfig in a cmd prompt tells you is your default gateway
You should see this: By default enter Username: Admin Password: password - (or whatever you've changed it to)
Click the advanced Tab.
Click setup, then internet setup.
Copy all the settings in the picture
PPP Protocol: PPPoE
VLAN Tagging: Disable/No/Off
PPP Username/Password: anything, just not blank. For example Bigpipe/Bigpipe
Obtain IP address automatically
Obtain DNS servers automatically
If you need to manually set your DNS servers, the servers are: 203.96.123.1 and 203.96.123.2 (worked fine without them)
Click apply and you're good to go.
Beware that you don't go to the advanced tab and go into the IPV6 settings.. Looks similar but not relevant.
