We have 3 mobiles on a Spark account, and were receiving the $10/month bundle-up bonus.  Then, we moved from absolute crap Spark VDSL to Spark wireless broadband -- and after setting up the tech did a "by the way, you'll lose your bundle-up bonus because you are changing plans and it no longer applies to your mobile plans", which eliminates a good chunk of the marginal savings on the new broadband.  Only mobile plans $39 and above are eligible.

OK, I can wear the $10/month, but it is the principle of the thing -- not being told beforehand, not finding anything on Spark which said, if you change plans, all bets are off.  I should have been told.

My guess is that this will happen also if you change to fibre.

So, I now have no good reason to stay with Spark mobile, do I?  Right.

I only work with Spark Digital products, so I don't know the ins and outs of Spark's consumer offers these days, but I am sure @JasonParis can get someone to look into this for you.

I would have thought you'd still be eligible for the bundle up bonus as the fixed wireless product is still what I'd call a home product (it's just the delivery that's different), but I am just not sure sorry.

What plans are your mobiles currently on? You may have been on an eligible mobile plan when you first got bundle up bonus but you have since changed mobile plans?

If you are on an eligible mobile plan you can get $10 off your fixed wireless broadband too.

Hi there. This isn't right. The bundle up bonus still applies. Can you please email me your details at jason.paris@spark.co.nz and I'll get it sorted. Thanks for letting me know.

BTW - Awesome to hear how well Wireless Broadband is going for you. New Zealanders are telling us that moving off copper onto Fibre or WBB is a real game changer for them.

Had a similar experience with something being removed by Spark without advice that they were doing so. At some point several years ago during a phone call with a Spark representative, he advised that he had added another 250MB to my monthly plan for no cost.

Recently I got an email to advise that my $39.99 open term plan was now eligible for free Spotify, but this never eventuated. I used the online chat feature to contact Spark and ask why this hadn't happened, was told to hold on while they sorted it. Yes it was sorted, but I subsequently discovered that my additional 250MB had disappeared. If I had been asked/told at the time, I probably would have agreed to it, but was a bit annoyed to discover that it had gone - presumably because it was non-standard.
