Hi everyone trying to help a friend.

Earlier today a remote technician logged in possibly via Team Viewer and tried to help with an iTunes issue.

Now he is unable to send xtra mail from Outlook 2007. It spits out error code 0x800CCC0F and sometimes 0x800CCC67 and fails to send mail. Although every so often a message DOES get sent through on repeated attempts.

I have followed all Spark help files including disabling firewall and also emptied the mailbox via webmail. The process I followed was:

https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet-email/troubleshooting/how-to-change-the-server-timeouts-in-outlook/

I have deleted the POP3 account and re-added it with correct settings but again no luck.

Please help? Windows Vista.

"Earlier today a remote technician logged" sounds dodgy, like one of our friends from India.

Run a virus scan or 2 or 3?

Try a different email client like Mozilla Thunderbird, try making a whole new Outlook profile and setting up on that.
