xtra email changes (imap)

Just when do we make the changes to settings as per sparks website
now, later, whenever ?
wait till we cant get email then make the changes ?

my xtra email is still working with the OLD imap settings , on ph & PC .
is there no set date that we should change our settings

they say "early next year" they will send out notifications a week before

Nope. imap.xtra.... not working

I had to change back to imap.mail.yahoo.com , that one works

Any Spark guru's looking here, the webpages with setup info needs to be tidied up.
conflicting info re imap settings, see links below

Make sure your ports and login details are specified in correct format. Is the biggest roadblock

I changed mine about a month ago, and so far its been able to check things. The worry is my alternate email keeps getting the 'were changing your email' messages with the actual spark/xtra box about 3 days behind!

for imap incoming , the only change is the server address , as per my 2 links .
yahoo imap server still working, xtra imap wasnt this morning (for me)

My IMAP is working fine here, thats where i got to this thread from. so i would assume you have a setting wrong somewhere if its not working for you.

i had to make sure the user name was my full xtra email address not just the bit before the @

Looks like its an issue at spark

Another one of their password issues, saw on Facebook someone else has the same issue today

imap.yahoo works 100%
imap.xtra : password error
send : this stopped working on both ph & work PC (password error)
webmail : Password error

** imap.yahoo works 100% , with the same password , so it can only be a weird xtra/spark/yahoo issue
