Hi, I know this is another "I've got a speed problem post", but seeking advice from the pros. I've got a ADSL connection in my house which I've had with Spark for over 10years. I have a master filter installed by coffee baron a few years ago. My connection speed has always been a consistent 10mb for years but I've come back from holiday and seen that my connection was reset 3 days ago and now I can't connect faster than 1.9mb. I have a historic print screen of my stats any the only real change is that line attenuation used to be (Up/Down) 17,9 / 32,5 . Thinking about going and buying a new modem tomorrow and not getting too much help from spark chat support apart from something must have changed. Any advise would be appreciated.

Stats from modem below:

Are you testing over WiFi or Ethernet?

Ethernet, but looking at the modem connect speed shouldn't matter.

If changing the modem doesn't help, change the phone cable, and if you really want to, change the filter.

Then log a low sync fault with Spark.

Just being tidy and closing this. Chorus came around today and said a number of people in my street were experiencing the same degradation in speed. They did a number of things to the copper over about 6 hours in multiple locations up and down my street (didn't say what exactly) and I'm back in business at normal speed. Unfortunately Chorus tech said its getting more and more common as the copper network needs some investment. He keeps going around and putting band aid solutions in place (his words not mine).

From my perspective I had my line issue resolved within 24 hours which I'm pretty pleased with. Took a while to get the job logged properly but apart from that it was good service from Spark in the end.
