Hi guys,

Couldn't find this info anywhere, but is a port from Skinny to Skinny Direct instant?

Just asking this as I'm looking to port over from Spark and I have a spare Skinny sim - don't really want to wait for a sim to get shipped in.

Thanks in advance.

Yes! If you have an active Skinny SIM, switching to Skinny Direct is instant, Basically on the Skinny Direct registration page, choose Keep my Number, Choose Skinny, Enter your Skinny number, It will send you a text with a verification code, enter the code on the web page and it's done.

Be aware you need your credit/debit card ready as it will be charged when you switch

Correct, this is covered in the terms when you swap.

I have read the terms about changing from Skinny Mobile to Skinny Direct and I understand the effects of my request, including losing any remaining data, minutes, texts and credit on my Skinny Mobile account.

  • My Skinny Mobile account will be deactivated and the associated methods of payment (credit/debit card) will be removed.
  • I will no longer be able to use the data, mins and txt services on my Skinny Mobile account.
  • If I have purchased a Skinny Mobile Top Up voucher, I will not be able to use it to top up my Skinny Mobile or Skinny Direct account.
  • I will no longer be able to use any Skinny Mobile Combos or Add-Ons that I’ve purchased.
  • I will lose any unused quotas (data, minutes, text) on my Skinny Mobile account.
  • I will lose any unused top-up credit on my Skinny Mobile account.
  • I will no longer be able to access the Skinny Mobile dashboard or the Skinny Mobile app.

4. This Customer Authorisation is valid for 30 days from acceptance.

I agree to the above as account holder (or duly authorised representative), of the phone number.
