At work we have recently setup some remote stations to transmit data back to the office. It uses a VPN and some 3G modems to send the data. We are using dyndns to give virtual static ip's. It is usually fine but every now and then the daily resetting of the IP addresses (usually happens at 10pm) gets the modems upset and the links all need to be hard reset to get the link back up and running. Our account manager told us that getting static IP's on 3G is not possible but surely if we were willing to pay it is?

Anyone with any suggestions or someone I could contact at Spark to discuss this?

You need a Corp connect solution (That is Vodafone name not sure what Spark call it) which is a verified APN with static IP it will not happen on a public APN

It will also be across 4G not just 3G

Sounds like you have your VPN architecture backwards...

Have all your remote sites (clients) connect back to a single VPN server with something like OpenVPN and you won't need to worry about their (client) IP addresses or if they're behind NAT.

I'm guessing you're working around some specific hardware device that doesn't support client-mode VPN so you may need to look at adding an OpenWRT-type device to the configuration.
