I'm looking at getting the Skinny 100GB deal since I'm looking at cutting down on some expenses. Anyway, in regards to the skinny wireless broadband modem (the Huawei B315s), does it come with the aerials as seen in the photo below? is it possible to obtain them if they don't come in the box? does Spark themselves sell them?

The router does not come with bunny ears, Skinny do not sell them ( I asked )

I bought some off Ali Express and to be honest it was not worth it.

Depenending on the location on the spark transmitters you may not need them, otherwise you need two external antenna, cables and adapters ( look in the threads for user @coffeebaron as he has posted a few times with correct external antenna )

Also you will have to change the settings on the router from internal antenna to external antenna.

A couple of these will do the trick: https://www.gowifi.co.nz/antennas-700-900-omni/ant-224.html

They usually make the connection a little bit more consistent, rather than necessarily making it faster.

I've checked the Skinny website as well as Spark's own website in regards to coverage in the area and normally I get 2 'dots' on my iPhone but how accurate is a iPhone when it comes to measuring signal strength? I assume that a battery powered device tends to regulate itself any only boost to maximum signal strength when required?

I just checked then - no, hey don't sell them but they did try to offload a wifi extender for some reason.
