I am quite keen to get one, I was eyeing up the iPad Pro 9.7 at Spark, but now the 10.5 is out I wanted to know if Spark will be carrying these.  And if so, when?

Why do you want to wait for Spark to carry the IPad? You can buy the IPad from Apple online store directly and then go to Spark and buy a Data Sim Card from them. Job done.

Harvey Norman will have them in store on Tuesday. I would think other retail outlets would be the same. I'm no expert,I could be wrong.

To answer the "why" - its both the plans and the fact its interest free.  iPads's are expensive now, the 10.5 starts at $1099.  the 512GB 4G version is $1799NZD so not small change.  Add a case or keyboard and Pencil are your at $2000.

@3puttssuck - thanks, I didn't know there would be in store what quick, gives me a chance to physically see what and compare the size to my old iPad Air.

Which still does not answer the question when spark/telecom is going to stock the new iPad 2 iPads in the 12.9 / 10.5 sizes that use the new fusion 10x chip and offer 512GB storage.

And yes interest free / data plan is the reason for wanting to go with spark.

Harvey Norman website is offering 26 months Interest Free on iPads. Offer ends tonight at Midnight. Go on there and pre-order it and get instore pick up tomorrow. Will that work ?

HN charge setup and annual fee for interest free payments but Spark doesn't - that'll be why

if spark get them it will be the same time as every other retailer
knowing apples history with ipad launches that will be some time in the next century.
to give you a example new macbook arrived the day after launch :) in vast numbers!
the ipad pro gen 1; we had issues getting them throughout the entire life cycle :(
