Hi,

I've found that OpenWrt Wiki (81.0.124.216) loads unusually slow on Spark Fibre in Kapiti - it took ~50 seconds to completely load the homepage. Downloading a 3.17MB image took 6 minutes 27 seconds, with an average speed of 8.01KB/s (according to wget saving to /dev/null)

For comparison, it took ~8 seconds to completely load the homepage over Skinny 3G. The image download took 5.2 seconds with an average speed of 600KB/s.

The MRU on my HG659b (in the internet section) is 1492. The MTU on my PC is 1500.

The OpenWrt Wiki seems to be the only website affected - all other websites I visit load fairly quickly.

Is anyone else having this issue?

You also using Sparks DNS? I'm not seeing this on a Spark connection here in Wellington. I also see a traceroute much like your Skinny one.

I am using Sparks DNS - 122.56.237.1 and 210.55.111.1 (specified in HG659b DHCP server)

Rebooted ONT and router - still slow to load OpenWrt Wiki.

Loading on a N4L connection was fine. (tracert output)

Both homepage and image slow here too, not on Spark.

Inconsistently slow here, Over both Vodafone and Spark.

What this would indicate to me is likely there is a large attack along their path..

not to mention a sever in hungry isn't really the speediest place for the internet.

Not sure what you mean there, both ends seem well connected, single hop Telia for Spark, Hurricane for Vodafone.

Slow here also and I'm on spark fibre, however I use openwrt for historical purposes mainly, active development is over at lede-project.org now - it's a spin off of openwrt and much more upto date.
