While I was waiting for UFB at my new place, I jumped onboard with Skinny's 4G internet for a few weeks. I didn't pay attention and realise it auto renewed, and got an email the other night saying I'd been charged another $52 bucks. I emailed them saying "My bad, I stuffed up, any chance of a refund?". They not only responded promptly, but they happily refunded me. Kudos to them, was bloody great service and made my day.

I'm gonna jump in here as well - I ported across to Skinny from 2D yesterday as my new work plan is all I will ever need, but wished to retain my personal number with the cheapest plan around so that I don't get slaughtered with casual rates... Went with the Skinny $9 monthly combo, requested a port and within 30-40 mins I was good to go... Had the confirmation text from Skinny and the sorry to see you go email from 2D - not bad for a Saturday I thought!

I have to say that the few times I have needed help from Skinny they have been awesome to deal with.

Not bad for the cheapest broadband around too!

I'm going to jump in here as well...

Was moving from Skinny Direct to Vodafone and had a very tough time getting the port through. Basically it took a week to get moved to Vodafone. I ended up phoning Skinny and the guy on the phone told me the reason for the port decline (when Vodafone didn't know) and from there gave me the information I needed to successfully do the port. He was incredibly polite, helpful and understanding. I wouldn't have left Skinny Direct but I was in need of roaming to more or less had to.

Excellent customer support here. Can't say the same about Vodafone :)
