Hi Geekzone Fourms! First post here so please be nice tongue-out

Currently trying to set up my Cisco 867VAE-K9 onto a BigPipe VDSL Turbo Connection.

BigPipe/Chrous have confirmed that the connection is live to my address.

My trouble is that I cannot find the setting to change the VLAN tag to 10. Nor PCP / QOS etc

I am also connecting the router via BT Telephone jack to the RJ11 port on the router. Is it possible my address can only do ADSL?

(I'm in CHCH if that helps?)

All other settings are correct as far as I can tell.

VPI: 0
VCI: 110
Mode: PTM
PPP Protocol: PPPoE
Encapsulation: 802.1Q
PCP / QoS Marking: 0
VLAN ID: 10
PPP Username / password: anything, just not blank.
Service name: [leave blank]
DNS (Optional): 203.96.123.1, 203.96.123.2

If you guys have any suggestions etc, please help :)

Don't quote me on it, But I beleive the key is to attach the Vlan tagging to all traffic..

And turn off ATM

controller VDSL 0

interface Ethernet0.10
encapsulation dot1Q 10
pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1

Can you confirm you have DSL sync first?

If not you need to fix this first before you change the settings.

Can you pull up the DSL stats from the modem?

Hi,

I'm currently not in front of the router, from memory however it states that Dialer is up, however ATM under VDSL is down.

Does this help?

Cheers.

Maybe easier if you post the relevant parts of running config so we can critique.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

It's PTM, not ATM, and please do pull up the DSL stats when you can.
