I have recently moved to Skinny and all seems well except I cannot send or receive MMS messages. I have been in contact with Skinny and they confirm my settings are correct and are looking into it. They say no-one else is having the problem, just me.

Has anyone else come across this problem?

Thanks.

Are the settings in one APN setup or do you have different APN's for internet and another for MMS / PXT?

I am using Oreo, ver 8.0

Under Apns there are three items, Content, Default, and MMS. They all seem to have the same settings in them.

Might seem a bit silly but have you tried powering your phone off and on?

When I moved my wife over to skinny there were some odd network problems happening for her to and after a reboot the problems went away

You should only need 1 or 2 APN's there is one field that will be causing the issue

Under the main internet APN what is in  ' APN type ' ?

Is that field blank on the MMS APN?

Delete the other unused APN and try again

There are 3 APNs. There are checkboxes next to them so I presume I have to choose one to use. However, on the Skinny site it says "Note for Android versions 4 and above you need to setup both APN and MMS profiles:" so that is a bit confusing.

Yes there are three with checkboxes, only one can be selected at a time, but the Skinny instructions seem to infer you have to set up two.

I have had the same problem with Skinny with different phones for about three years. I found down loading and trying different browsers worked sometimes. I have given up on MMS now and tell people to email or send through messenger. I have my data on full time and it's cheaper than MMS.

P.S. I'm sure we're not the only ones with this problem.

Are you using WiFi or mobile data to send/receive MMS? MMS can only be sent or received via mobile data
