Wondering if anyone has received some? Was at a client's place the other day, a random package arrived from Spark. Turned out it was a Christmas card and some manuka honey. Very amusing, but also actually quite cool of them. Just as we were talking about them not offering any of their 'joining' deals for existing customers haha.

I don't imagine they sent this to every customer?

As far as i'm aware, has not gone out to everyone.

We do have someone internally who does honey.

From what I can gather it is a part of the Spark Thanks side of things - if you're nice and make a CSR's day they can thank you by sending you something nice in return. I think it is quite neat.

Speaking of which - @hio77 where is my Honey ;)

Besides the best honey in the world, you guys also have the legendary Dave Dobbyn, and...Kakapos. Too bad there's less than 149 (?) left now, because of the first settlers hunting them. So very sad.

I'd love to know whether the card said: "Thank you for being a customer who is as sweet as the jar of honey we've enclosed"

"When the people are being beaten with a stick, they are not much happier if it is called 'the People's Stick'"

We got a UE Boom speaker, made the receptionist day as the boss said she could have it.

I got one of the honey jars, quite nice. It lasted about a week!

Been a Spark/Telecom customer more or less coninuously since the early 1990s, and for a couple of brief periods in the 1980s. I think at one point I even had a landline on in my name for a few months back in 1983, before the NZPO split into NZ Post, Postbank, and Telecom.
