Not quite answering your question (I don't have the answer) but Ain't there a reasonable offer available for you to take up for UFB? ;)

I'm confused is there UFB in Wanganui or not? If not then no point asking Skinny if Yes then pick another ISP that offers UFB

UFB is there, OP is simply trying to see when Ventures (BP/Skinny) will have a BNG in Whanganui.

Obviously likely the answer will come to "Soon" or "Can't comment" but... Don't ask, Don't get?

A few months ago I would have said "never", but the chances of that may have now improved to "long term it may happen".

The big boys all seem to have Whanganui UFB coverage.  Broadband Compare says the two year price for Skinny unlimited is only $40 less than Orcon, taking into account setup fees / first 3 months free / etc.

I'm now in Pleasant Point, South Canterbury, and waiting for Chorus to finally connect my VDSL...
