If you insert the Telecom SIM card on a new GSM device, do you have any APN settings to load or can I just create a new connection with an empty APN name? I can't find anything anywhere in the Telecom site.
Yes, I assume it should work no problem as Telecom does offer loan data cards to roam to the USA, so should be fine with a Pocket PC (GSM 850 1900 and UMTS 850 / 1900 bands). Let us know how you get on.
At least $12 per MB is less than half of Vodafone's $30 per MB - and I will only be using for Messenger to keep tabs with the other people on this trip. The hotel we are staying have wi-fi and I am sure we won't have problems there.
