Hi

I have just switch to BigPipe from 2D and I'm trying to setup my fritzbox 7490. I found an old thread here about it but the discussion there ( https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=158&topicid=213930 ) did not help me.

I am following their official advice from here: https://www.bigpipe.co.nz/faq/faq-getting-connected/what-modem-settings-are-best-for-bigpipe

In my fritzbox I have setup the following:

Under Internet => Account Information => Create new internet service provider connection (original settings were from 2d)

New settings:

* Connect via => Connection to a DSL line

* Account information => my bigpipe login/password

* Connection settings => checked "Maintain permanently (recommended for flat rates)"

* VLAN settings => VLAN ID = 10

* DSL ATM settings => set manually. VPI = 0; VCI = 110

* Encapsulation: PPPoE

* IPv6 disabled

* DNS servers are using the servers provided by Bigpipe (manually setup)

When I switch to "online monitor" I see that I get a IPv4 address and it says that it is connected. But I can't use the internet.

The "Internet" LED on the modem is OFF. The only LED that are ON are the "Power/DSL"  and "info"

Could someone please help?

Does this work with another router? Take it that you're also using VDSL? BigPipe also offer IPv6 so leave that IPv6 tickbox ticked :)

Not sure. If it works with another router yet. I only have this one available for testing.

Depending of you plan you have to untick VLAN settings.
