Vodafone clearly stated it will cut speed to 1.2Mbos after 22GB usage, while Spark say nothing.
Has anyone actually tried this over usage limit? Someone told me it will be 1Mbps for Spark. Then it will be worse than Vodafone

Yes speed is reduced on Spark after 22GB

Not sure why the speed would need to be the same once reduced anyway

VodafoneNZ offers $5 daily roaming and Spark does not and they don't have to

1Mbps - which you've already mentioned (and it's also mentioned in numerous other threads on here discussing the very same thing).

technically speaking, both plans are identical (vf and Spark.)

@richms's comments are the first i'm hearing, i suspect there is more at play there.

I actually had one of my family members try to sell me on the plan the other day. he averages 50~60GB, always using youtube and spotify.

Made me laugh a little when i reminded him i do work for spark.

Also had a store try to sell me on switching my plan, Unfortunately i hotspot and have a few data sims in dedicated hotspots for a few things so it's not suited to me.

15GB plan covers myself and my partner, especially with the socializer moving to 10GB!

I verified myself Spark unlimited plan after 22GB and have following conclusions for your reference,

1. The speed limit is 1.2Mbps instead of 1Mbps. Same as Vodafone.
2. YouTube video 720p works fine if you do not FF. For YouTube live use 480p will be fine.
3. E2E delay will not be affected so you can have similar experience as usual for most of the non-streaming apps.
4. Spark’s own Lightbox doesn’t fit this limit.
5. So this plan is acceptable for daily use.
