Hi

 

I am currently renting where the house owner has Spark Fibre. They are moving out at the end of the month, when I will then be responsible for paying for Fibre.

 

What is the process where the same ISP is used between an existing and new Fibre connection? Is any downtime involved in this process?

to be honest, in that case i'd potentially look at a change of ownership?

 

Alternatively your best option is to get a Secondary Fibre connection fired up the day before. Secondary will become Primary once disconnected.

 

 

 

 

 

i am making the assumption you have a room there, and are taking over the property as such. not that there are two buildings and different onts etc.

Its pretty common in flatting situations to change the person named on utility bills as flatmates come and go, (especially if they subsequently want a new connection somewhere else)

 

I've done a number of times on a copper connection, can't think why it would be any different for fibre...
