Hi,

Anyone else having issue with Spark SIP trunks?
Have some clients to using the voice connect product and
Spark digital has a voice message up saying a known issue across data and voice, but no further info

Just wondering if anyone has an ETA?

Not actually my responsibility, so don't have direct support lines but I am the one getting the phone call - the trouble with being the IT guy lol

Hey Clint, we use VoiceConnect SIP trunks (Waikato) but haven't noticed any issues tonight, however we don't receive or make many calls at that time.

 

 

 

At least they recognized there was a problem, in the past they've denied anything was wrong when multiple Spark customers across Waikato/BOP are experiencing the same issues at the same time and it suddenly gets fixed (like the major clipping/one way voice issue a few weeks ago).

Yep there was in issue in the Manawatu today.

We have some trunks on system and it actually de-registered. Was a 4xx error. Can't remember.

Rang a couple of places I knew who were on voice connect and they were down too.

yes, there was an issue today.

 

it was identified relatively quickly; I can't really go into detail on it as that's not my area to discuss.

Not with SIP trunks, but with international data for mobile devices in my case. Our issue also started @ ±08:30

Still not resolved as at 07:00 on 2019/03/20. The reference number I have for this issue is INC1362459. & Still nothing on Sparks outage page.

This was resolved last night at 8.34pm. If your still having issues, please reach out to your support reps to reopen.

 

 

 

edit: to cycle back to the voice issue, this was also resolved last night.

That seems a little delayed, but yeah matches when the issue affecting trunks was resolved (there are two separate issues in this thread)

Just what the log says. We only have the GVC trunk for testing so didn't worry us.
