Hi all, I did have a very quick search but wasn't able to find this - is the latest firmware for the HG659 available for download somewhere?

Thanks!

What version is on your HG659? You might already have the latest

Wanting to flash a Vodafone HG659 with the Bigpipe firmware. Not so worried about the version.

I know I can reconfigure the Vodafone one but it's going away somewhere and the chance of someone factory resetting it at some stage is quite high.

Edit - I did just find some firmware on BigPipe's site, right down the bottom of this page.

No version mentioned but after flashing it it looks like B011 - that will be fine, but does anyone know if there is a newer version around? I seem to remember the B026? from Vodafone improved some wireless performance issues.

I also flashed a Vodafone HG659 with the BigPipe firmware you linked (V100R001C297B011). No issues here.

Various fimware discussed on GZ for HG659 and HG659b modems.

There seems to be quite a few firmware variants, so I thought I would collect together what I know about:

Vodafone HG659
HG659-16V100R001C206B020_main.bin
HG659-16V100R001C206B026_main.bin

Skinny HG659 My original modem 27 Jan 2017.
V100R001C297B011
Skinny HG659b per Skinnysquad on GZ
V100R001C227B027

Bigpipe HG659
Bigpipe-Modem-Firmware-V100R001C297B011.bin
This firmware runs successfully on a Vodafone HG659 which bought as a spare on Trademe.

Spark HG659
HG659V100R001C227B011_packet.bin
Spark HG659b
HG659bV100R001C227B022_main.bin

I don't know where you can get these from except for the Bigpipe firmware as noted earlier in ths thread.
