Hi All

Currently on fibre and trying to set up the spark default modem to support DDNS via No-ip.  have configured the unit multiple times, has seen a status of Sync OK on the device and no ip recorded an IP and last update time, so can only assume that worked ok, when i tried the Domain name it did direct to my router homepage.  HOWEVER that was 16 hours ago, and the domain name is not working, and the NoIP site is showing the same last update time.  Anyone had any challenges with NO ip on a std spark modem with Fibre Unplan?  THanks

Sounds like an issue on no-ip's side if your getting all OK on the interface.

In my experience, the HG659's dynamic DNS client is garbage - regardless of Spark/Vodafone/Bigpipe firmware.

Pretty much the same as you have seen, it will update the first time, but never again.

My fix was to just put in a Mikrotik. But depending on what you have available, the desktop apps might be the simplest solution.

Try the desktop app, and see if that works - if yes, then yeah, will be the router not playing nice. Probably down to a change at at the DynDNS providers end, and the router dosent have an update to match.
