Not a great performance.
Presumably a fibre cut or similar?

The Mobile outage is a planned upgrade, Ignore that.

Gonville is a complex fibre cut is what chorus describe it as, Requiring daytime work due to the conditions of the worksite.

Cable cut is in Totara street if you feel like a drive by, i'd expect you will see a hole, many workers doing their best to get it up and running soon as they safely can.

@ChorusNZ have been pretty good with their comms :)

Yep we have a couple of customers in Springvale shops there - one being the medical centre that is down.

They are happy enough though, running on backup 4G data (via 2degrees).

It says "Outage", not "Maintenance", and it seems remarkably coincidental that it is said to have started at the same time as the Totara St cable cut. Also 22 hours and counting for a planned upgrade?

I'm on UFF fibre, so the copper broadband issue doesn't affect me ;-)

I have no landline, and an inoperative cellphone. IF Spark offered Wi-Fi calling this wouldn't be an issue for me.
Lots of people, even 'elderly' ones like this OAP, are going without landlines, so the cellular infrastructure is becoming more and more critical.
