I've spent the last few hours trying to configure this and it just won't connect. Talking with Spark was about as useful as a crusty nutsack.

Does anyone have experience on setting this router up and what settings need to go where?

go into the wan settings set a PPPoE Connection, plug the cable from the ONT into the routers Wan port, put in the username password user@xtrabb.co.nz and password1234 then ensure VLAN tagging is enabled with the number 10

Should be that easy really.

Well, the settings you need are here:

https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet/set-up/non-spark-modem/

Perhaps someone here can hand hold you through the setup - I haven't used that particular model before I am afraid.

Cheers - N

its the default user/pass for spark connections over PPPoE since they use port auth not user/pass based auth.

It's one we used to supply.

For spark, the only requirement is that you have a valid (eg no junk characters) username and password. It isnt unique to you as a User.

Highly likely your missing the vlan tag. If i recall correctly for that model it's under iptv...

Yeah I tried that, but I don't have the same settings for some reason? Possibly a more recent firmware on mine?
