Hi All,
I'm looking for some help with setting up a network at a remote site in Wellington city. I can't get wired phone/broadband to the building so have been using 4G on Spark via one of their b315S modems.
It's been reliable and reasonably cheap so far, for basic CCTV but I want to install more kit in the location and need to be able to monitor things remotely - VPN in and monitor.
I've got a Unifi ERL at home which has been reliable so I got a USG, Cloud key and Unifi POE 6 port switch plus Unifi wifi.
I've since come to understand that I can't put the 4G modem in a bridge mode so I'm thinking of a double NAT... but when I connect the USG to the switch it says it can't detect the internet and keeps asks for config.
I've pointed to the 4G modem IP but it still refuses to connect - Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Cheers
Andy
