Hi there,

There is a major company that I look after for their mobile, who use a VPN to access their server to sync their Okta Boss's and Samsung Global's.

The IT department there set these up for the staff, delete the Telecom data connection and change the devices setting to use the VPN as a primary.

The problem is that their Boss's freeze a lot (we already know about that one) and the Samsung comes with two batteries... this in turn means they have to remove their batteries frequently thus losing their VPN and HELLO back comes the Telecom setting.

The staff are getting frustrated at having to set up this VPN every week (sometimes more than once a week)

Does anyone know of either a) a way to fix this on the device or b) know of any software that may allow this to stop happening

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Haley - there is a file somewhere on the device that needs to be deleted I think - when the device cold boots I think it checks for it, and creates the telcos default connection again...

I seem to remember having this trouble when updating the Titan to WM6...

Hey Tony!

Thanks for that info, I'm guessing you don't know what that file is??

This problem is absolutely killing everyone on the account as it is getting out of control. I will pass this on to the techy IT person who may be able to go through the device and delete 'that' file!!

Thanks again and will let you know how I get on.

Sorry, my memory isnt extending back. One of the ROM cookers around here must know what I mean though. Whether it helps with the 325/Boss I don't know though.

Can they not leave the TNZ connection in, create VPN, set VPN as default and not let the device Auto-pick?
